We want you to have all the information you need before scheduling your appointment. Please review the information below regarding our specialized approach, fees, insurance policy, and what to expect during your first visits to ensure our practice is the right fit for you.

Why Patients Choose Our Practice

Many of our patients come to us after trying medications, traditional chiropractic care, physical therapy, injections, or other treatments without lasting relief. Others have spent time researching Atlas Orthogonal and are specifically seeking Dr. Muto because he is the only Atlas Orthogonal certified chiropractor serving Buffalo, Western New York, and Central New York. They choose our practice because they're looking for a specialized approach focused on finding the cause of their symptoms not simply the next treatment to try.

Insurance & Financial Information:

Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic of Buffalo is a self-pay specialty practice and does not participate with insurance plans, including Medicare. We are happy to provide a detailed receipt that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement, if your plan offers those benefits.

​

Many patients are surprised to learn that chiropractic insurance benefits are often limited, with deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance, or visit limits that may leave them paying much or all of the cost out of pocket. We encourage you to review your benefits before your visit. Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, credit/debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards.

 

Please note: Medicare does not reimburse for the Atlas Orthogonal technique due to its gentle low-force procedure (it does not cause cracking or popping).  As a result, Medicare patients do not have out of network reimbursement benefits for these services.

Visit 1 – Initial Consultation, Comprehensive Exam & Imaging   $250 

Current fee through July 5th. Beginning July 6th, the fee will increase to $300.
Your first visit includes a one-on-one consultation with Dr. Muto, a comprehensive neurological and orthopedic examination, and Atlas Orthogonal specific upper cervical X-rays. These precise images allow us to fully understand your upper cervical spinal alignment and determine the best course of care specifically for you.

Visit 2 – Review of Findings & First Correction:  $65
During your second visit, Dr. Muto will review your exam findings and X-rays with you, explain whether he feels our care can help you, and outline his recommended plan. If you choose to proceed, you will receive your first Atlas Orthogonal correction.

​

Following your initial correction only, we may take a single X-ray to confirm that the best possible correction was achieved. From there, we allow your body to do what it was designed to do best—heal, adapt, and self-regulate.

Standard Office Visits:  $65
